- Design, develop, test, and troubleshoot software solutions.
- Communicate technical problems and solutions clearly in writing and verbally, including through documentation and approved AI-assisted development tools.
- Collaborate with engineers, managers, and stakeholders to understand problems, exchange feedback, and deliver reliable solutions.
- Use approved AI development tools for code generation, refactoring, test creation, and documentation while validating outputs through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding practices.
- Apply automation and modern tooling across the software development life cycle to improve delivery efficiency and reliability.
- Participate in technology initiatives such as Force for Good that support social-impact programs.
Requirements
- Pursue a Bachelor's degree or fourth-year Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, or a related field.
- Have an expected graduation date between January 2027 and September 2027 and be available to start full-time employment in September 2027.
- Have experience designing, developing, testing, and troubleshooting software solutions through an engineering team, coursework, projects, or internships.
- Demonstrate proficiency writing secure, high-quality code in at least one programming language.
- Apply automation and modern tooling to reduce manual effort and improve consistency across the software development life cycle.
- Use and critically evaluate approved AI development tools while remaining accountable for solution quality, correctness, and security.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal English communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Show foundational software engineering knowledge, curiosity about emerging technologies, sound judgment, and an interest in solving open-ended problems.
