Responsibilities
- Design and implement test strategies for RESTful APIs and backend systems.
- Translate product and system requirements into test plans and test cases.
- Execute functional, integration, regression, accessibility, API, data, and performance testing.
- Monitor test results, report defects, and follow through on resolution.
- Collaborate with development, product, and DevOps teams to improve testing processes.
- Drive automation best practices and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
- Lead automation testing and establish automation frameworks or testing practices from scratch.
Requirements
- 7–11 years of experience in automation testing leadership.
- Experience with automation testing for web, mobile, and/or backend applications using Selenium, Cucumber, or similar tools.
- Experience implementing an automation framework or testing practice from scratch.
- Experience with API testing, data testing, and/or performance testing.
- Knowledge of CI/CD with Jenkins or similar tools is preferred.
- Experience with GitHub is preferred.
- Experience leveraging AI for testing is preferred.
- Experience working on Agile projects is preferred.
