Base Salary
$158k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement datapath features for load balancing, firewall rules, and L7 protocols.
- Apply advanced C programming, data structures, and algorithms to build high-performance systems.
- Drive moderately complex architectural projects independently from conception through large-scale deployment.
- Use expertise in DNS, HTTP, TCP/IP, and SSL/TLS to develop networking features.
- Optimize networking and security applications on Unix or Linux operating systems.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building large-scale commercial networking and security applications.
- Proficiency in C or C++.
- Strong foundational knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Working experience with Linux, Unix, or similar operating systems.
- BS or MS degree in computer science or computer engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated curiosity and active exploration of AI tools, including a history of integrating new technologies into workflows.
- Preferred: exposure to AI-assisted software development tools and workflows.
- Preferred: advanced knowledge of DNS, HTTP, TCP/IP, and SSL/TLS.
