Base Salary
$158k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement datapath features for load balancing, firewall rules, and Layer 7 protocols.
- Build high-performance systems using C programming, data structures, and algorithms.
- Independently drive moderately complex architectural projects from conception through deployment.
- Apply expert knowledge of DNS, HTTP, TCP/IP, and SSL/TLS networking protocols and services.
- Optimize networking and security applications on Unix or Linux operating systems.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience building large-scale commercial networking and security applications.
- Proficiency in C or C++.
- Strong foundational knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Working experience with Linux, Unix, or similar operating systems.
- BS or MS degree in computer science or computer engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Curiosity about and demonstrated use of AI tools to improve workflows and problem-solving.
- Preferred: exposure to AI-assisted software development tools and workflows.
- Preferred: advanced knowledge of DNS, HTTP, TCP/IP, and SSL/TLS.
