Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, implement, and support full-stack technical solutions.
- Build and manage secure, fault-tolerant, cloud-based platforms and services.
- Develop event-driven systems for asynchronous communication between systems and components.
- Use Java, JavaScript, Python, Spring Boot, TypeScript, and SQL to build customer experiences on AWS.
- Deliver Kubernetes-based microservices using AWS tools and services.
- Build observable distributed systems for performance tracking, issue tracing, and failure troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and Agile teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Conduct code reviews, maintain code quality, and support production delivery.
- Mentor engineering team members and contribute to recruiting and internal technology communities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical discipline and five or more years of technical experience.
- Intermediate to advanced programming skills in Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, React, TypeScript, or Python.
- Experience delivering Kubernetes-based microservices on AWS in a regulated or compliance-sensitive environment.
- Strong proficiency developing scalable and resilient REST microservices APIs.
- Experience with test-driven development, object-oriented design, design patterns, coding standards, and responsive web applications.
- Experience with version control, branching, merging, code reviews, and production delivery processes.
- Experience building observable systems and troubleshooting distributed-service failures.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
- Preferred familiarity with SOX, PCI-DSS, or GDPR regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Preferred experience with AI coding assistants and AWS certifications such as Certified Developer – Associate, Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, or Certified Solutions Architect – Professional.
