Responsibilities
- Manually support the testing of new features across iOS, Android, and Web.
- Execute sanity checks on Duolingo release and branch builds.
- Write clear, detailed, and reproducible bug reports.
- Learn Duolingo products deeply and ask thoughtful questions.
- Identify potential quality issues and raise risks with guidance.
- Help prioritize testing tasks within assigned projects.
- Advocate for Duolingo learners by evaluating features.
- Follow and contribute to existing QA processes and documentation.
- Collaborate within cross-functional teams, communicating progress.
Requirements
- Graduated in December 2025 or will be graduating in Spring 2026.
- Friendly, approachable, and easy to work with.
- Curious and motivated by doing high-quality work.
- Comfortable breaking things and paying close attention to details.
- A clear communicator who can collaborate with designers, PMs, and engineers.
- Creative and able to think outside the box.
- Adaptable and resilient in a fast-changing environment.
- Comfortable speaking up and engaging with a quirky team culture.
