Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy, and support software solutions used across the firm.
- Develop applications, services, APIs, and automation capabilities.
- Build scalable systems that process and manage large volumes of data.
- Contribute to cloud-native architectures and platform engineering initiatives.
- Partner with engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to turn ideas into production solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and software delivery processes.
- Use firm-approved AI-assisted development tools, plugins, skills, and standards.
- Automate repetitive tasks and workflows to improve operational efficiency.
- Take ownership of projects, identify design gaps, and promote reusable components.
- Teach, coach, and mentor other technologists.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or master’s student.
- Expected graduation in summer 2027.
- Strong programming fundamentals in any modern programming language.
- Familiarity with application development in a public cloud provider, preferably AWS.
- Experience driving projects from inception to completion.
- Experience producing high-quality code and soliciting feedback.
- Desire to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Curiosity about applying AI and emerging technologies to real-world problems.
- Strong communication skills and a self-starting, entrepreneurial attitude.
- Preferred experience with relational or NoSQL database technology.
- Experience with messaging, caching, automation, agentic development, or UI frameworks is a plus.
