Base Salary
$170k - $323k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build software, tooling, reusable services, integrations, and platform capabilities.
- Design and implement large-scale distributed systems and contribute to product and prototype development.
- Evaluate systems, frameworks, and tools for quality, cost, latency, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Use and promote AI-assisted development, modern languages, automation, and improved developer workflows.
- Lead architectural design for complex enterprise-wide initiatives and drive organization-wide engineering practices.
- Own and improve end-to-end customer experience across services and applications while balancing cost, performance, and business value.
- Represent the organization through architecture reviews, public speaking, technical blogs, and white papers.
- Mentor engineers, conduct technical interviews, support promotion recommendations, and champion AI-assisted engineering.
Requirements
- Extensive software engineering and technical leadership experience.
- Proven delivery of large-scale distributed systems.
- Expertise in cloud, AI/data platforms, and modern engineering practices.
- Hands-on depth in one or more areas including decisioning data and feature platforms, streaming and low-latency systems, AI/ML systems, decisioning tooling, or cloud platform engineering.
- Experience with high-speed streaming platforms, low-latency pipelines, or hyperscaler-scale distributed systems is sought.
- Strong communication, collaboration, mentorship, and engineering-culture leadership skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; advanced degree preferred.
