Base Salary
$131k - $261k/yr
Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead architect for the overall program solution architecture.
- Develop and maintain the technical vision, architecture roadmap, engineering strategy, and enterprise architecture framework.
- Ensure integration across network, security, cloud, OSS/BSS, monitoring, automation, service management, and operational platforms.
- Evaluate architectural alternatives, perform technical trade studies, and establish architecture standards and design patterns.
- Lead architecture review boards and technical design reviews.
- Coordinate solution architecture activities across engineering disciplines and support requirements analysis, system decomposition, interface definition, and technical allocation.
- Assess technical risks and develop mitigation strategies for complex architectural challenges.
- Validate scalability, resiliency, security, maintainability, performance, design readiness, and operational supportability.
- Support transition planning and operational readiness activities.
- Provide executive-level technical briefings and architecture recommendations to program leadership and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Telecommunications, or a related technical field.
- At least 15 years of experience designing and integrating large-scale enterprise IT, telecommunications, cloud, or network solutions.
- Experience serving as a lead architect on complex federal programs.
- Demonstrated experience developing enterprise architecture frameworks and integrated technical solutions.
- Strong knowledge of network architecture, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, automation, and service management systems.
- Experience supporting large-scale network modernization and digital transformation initiatives.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required government security clearances.
- Preferred qualifications include a master's degree, experience with enterprise telecommunications, managed network services, and SD-WAN architectures, and knowledge of cloud architecture, network transformation, IT service management, and automation platforms.
- Familiarity with systems engineering lifecycle methodologies and enterprise architecture frameworks is preferred.
- TOGAF, CISSP, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect, PMP, or equivalent professional certifications are preferred.
