Responsibilities
- Build secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud-native applications using Angular, TypeScript, Node.js, RESTful APIs, and AWS.
- Implement multi-tier architectures and RESTful microservices that integrate with upstream and downstream systems.
- Design and deploy serverless and containerized applications and manage AWS application operations.
- Manage SQL and NoSQL databases using Amazon RDS, MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and Aurora.
- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms and build CI/CD pipelines.
- Apply Terraform and other infrastructure-as-code practices for repeatable infrastructure management.
- Use testing frameworks and backend testing tools to maintain code quality and reliability.
- Manage source control, configuration management, logging, monitoring, and distributed tracing.
- Optimize application performance and high availability using AWS scaling and caching mechanisms.
- Work within Agile and Waterfall development frameworks and support continuous delivery.
Requirements
- Strong experience developing full-stack applications with Angular, TypeScript, Node.js, and RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, CloudFormation, EC2, ECS/Fargate, CloudWatch, and IAM.
- Experience designing and deploying serverless and containerized applications with AWS SAM, Docker, and ECS.
- Expertise building and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating systems using Node.js or Spring Boot.
- Strong database management experience with Amazon RDS, MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and Aurora, including SQL and NoSQL modeling.
- Experience implementing authentication and authorization with AWS Cognito, OAuth2.0, and JWT.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD automation using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code using AWS CloudFormation and Terraform.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks and backend testing tools such as JUnit.
- Experience with GitHub, Bitbucket, and AWS CodeCommit for version control and configuration management.
- Experience with logging, monitoring, and distributed tracing using CloudWatch, X-Ray, and the ELK stack.
- Experience optimizing performance and availability using Elastic Load Balancer and CloudFront.
