Base Salary
$124k - $155k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop partner integrations for global pay-in and pay-out networks supporting money movement across more than 170 countries.
- Build well-tested, observable, documented, efficient, scalable, and resilient solutions.
- Contribute to legacy-service modernization, technical specifications, design reviews, and system architecture decisions.
- Participate in interviewing, code reviews, mentoring, onboarding, and promoting engineering best practices.
- Partner with Product Management and Operations on task breakdowns, estimates, tradeoffs, technical recommendations, and customer-facing problems.
- Collaborate with global partners and help shape the team’s technical direction and roadmap.
Requirements
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 4 years of experience building, shipping, and maintaining consumer software products.
- At least 2 years of experience working with services deployed on a commercial cloud provider such as AWS.
- General experience migrating legacy services into modernized architecture.
- Proficiency in Java, Go, or another general-purpose programming language.
- Proficiency with large-scale database systems such as MySQL or DynamoDB.
- Proficiency with monitoring systems such as Prometheus and VictoriaMetrics.
- General knowledge of technical architecture and system design concepts.
- Clear, objective writing and in-person communication skills.
- Payments or fintech experience is preferred.
