Base Salary
$76k - $129k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive user interfaces using React and JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
- Create interactive visualizations and UI components for data-driven decision-making and geospatial applications.
- Define APIs and data models that improve front-end responsiveness and reduce latency.
- Design and implement automation and orchestration scripts using Python.
- Write maintainable modular code and participate in peer, design, and code reviews.
- Collaborate with UX designers, product engineers, and technical teams to deliver user-centric features across devices.
- Contribute to GIS projects involving visualization, analysis, automation, predictive insights, and spatial data.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of professional software development experience focused on user-centric applications.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, React or similar frameworks, HTML, CSS, and responsive design.
- Understanding of API integration patterns, software design techniques, and development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and technical presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- Preferred familiarity with the Esri Calcite Design System, ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript, ArcGIS API for Python, or similar mapping frameworks.
- Preferred working knowledge of relational database concepts and systems such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and Oracle.
- Preferred experience with front-end CI/CD tools and practices and with ArcGIS or equivalent mapping software.
