Responsibilities
- Define software requirements with customers for Complex Device Driver development and align them with vehicle-level Battery Management System needs.
- Integrate Battery Management Solution device Complex Device Drivers with AUTOSAR Basic Software using MCAL drivers, operating systems, and the RTE.
- Verify Complex Device Drivers and support scalable system architectures for customer use cases.
- Lead technical issue analysis, root-cause debugging, and performance optimization.
- Ensure compliance with ASPICE guidelines and ISO 26262 functional-safety requirements to meet customer ASIL goals.
- Develop software solutions, collateral documentation, tools, requirements, design specifications, and test reports in partnership with Systems and Marketing teams.
- Support software development across requirements, design, implementation, validation, and release.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in ECE, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of software experience, including embedded systems, MCU/MPU and ARM architectures, computer architecture, operating systems, and I2C, SPI, UART, and CAN peripherals.
- Experience with automotive software architecture, standard operating systems, Basic Software, middleware components, MCALs, AUTOSAR, and Linux.
- Preferred: master’s degree in ECE or Computer Science.
- Preferred: experience with Linux, FreeRTOS, or Code Composer Studio.
- Preferred: strong software and firmware development background using C, C++, and Python.
- Preferred: experience with functional safety, ASIL, and ASPICE.
- Ability to communicate technical requirements and issues with customers and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, communication, time-management, and teamwork skills, with the ability to take initiative and deliver projects on time.
