Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Salesforce Flows, Apex classes, triggers, batch, schedulable, and asynchronous jobs.
- Develop Lightning Web Components and Visualforce solutions using bulkified, governor-limit-safe code.
- Configure and customize Salesforce CPQ Product Rules, Price Rules, Quote Templates, Discount Schedules, bundle logic, and Advanced Approvals.
- Partner on Salesforce data model, sharing, security architecture, and build-versus-configure decisions.
- Design and maintain REST/SOAP integrations and middleware connections across Salesforce and GTM systems.
- Build Apex test classes, participate in code reviews, manage releases through Gearset or Salesforce CLI/SFDX, and troubleshoot production defects.
- Mentor Salesforce team members and help admins advance into more technical development work.
- Use AI coding tools and evaluate MCP tooling for Salesforce data and workflow integrations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience in a production Sales Cloud environment.
- Production experience with Apex classes, triggers, batch and asynchronous jobs, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, SOQL, and SOSL.
- Deep hands-on Salesforce CPQ experience with Product Rules, Price Rules, Quote Templates, Discount Schedules, bundle configurations, and Advanced Approvals.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data models, security models, sharing rules, permission sets, and governor limits.
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and asynchronous Apex integration patterns.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I or Salesforce CPQ certification is required.
- Experience with Salesforce CLI/SFDX, scratch orgs, and the Metadata API for source-driven development and deployment.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code or Cursor and willingness to evaluate MCP-based tooling.
- Fluent written and verbal English communication skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical designs.
- Platform Developer II certification, Salesforce Billing or Revenue Cloud experience, and B2B SaaS experience are preferred.
