Base Salary
$102k - $219k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build backend platform capabilities and core Microsoft 365 Copilot scenarios.
- Deliver scalable, high-performance features for next-generation AI experiences.
- Define architecture and implementation plans for production systems.
- Ensure robustness, solid test coverage, and continuous improvement of engineering processes.
- Collaborate with applied scientists and engineers to turn advanced AI research into production-ready systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and 2+ years of technical engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
- Coding experience in one or more of C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Ability to meet Microsoft Cloud background check and other applicable security screening requirements.
- Preferred: master’s degree and 3+ years of technical engineering experience, or bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: 1+ years of industry experience in artificial intelligence, distributed systems, information retrieval, or data mining.
- Preferred: ability to work end-to-end across planning, design, execution, continuous release, and service operation.
- Preferred: software engineering fundamentals including coding, problem solving, and data analysis.
