Responsibilities
- Design and build applications for the Android platform.
- Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
- Stay current with mobile technology trends, applications, and protocols.
- Integrate mobile applications with server-side systems using RESTful APIs.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least three years of proven Android development experience using Java or Kotlin.
- General knowledge of Google Play release procedures.
- Proficiency with Android Studio and Android SDK tools.
- Experience using RESTful APIs to integrate mobile applications with server-side systems.
- Good understanding of the Android release cycle and familiarity with CI/CD.
- Familiarity with mobile product and design lifecycles.
- Experience with testing tools and code versioning tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work with developers and product team members.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Experience with agile development methodologies is a plus.
- Experience in the financial markets industry or a similar IT field is a plus.
