Responsibilities
- Participate in the development of Netcon 200 and Netcon 500 products.
- Maintain the Netcon 200 and Netcon 500 products.
- Work primarily with Linux-based operating system kernel and distribution development.
- Apply embedded programming and hardware-oriented programming to remote terminal unit and substation gateway products.
Requirements
- Previous experience with a Linux-based operating system kernel and distribution is necessary.
- Good knowledge of C, with experience in embedded programming and hardware-oriented programming.
- A suitable educational background such as a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Software Engineering or a similar field.
- Understanding of network communication and firewalls.
- Ability to script in Python and Bash.
- Experience with Git and/or Azure DevOps.
- Fluency in English is necessary.
- Finnish or Swedish language skills are advantageous.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles for embedded systems and skills in C++ are advantageous.
