Responsibilities
- Build and maintain reliable, scalable infrastructure for Hack The Box cloud labs.
- Partner with Content Engineers to improve workflows, developer experience, and content delivery.
- Design, implement, and maintain Terraform-based infrastructure across multiple cloud providers.
- Build and enhance observability capabilities and support incident response.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and continuously improve production environments.
- Train and facilitate engineers on infrastructure best practices, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud-native technologies.
- Drive automation initiatives that reduce manual effort and improve consistency.
- Collaborate with the broader SRE team on shared platform reliability efforts.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
- Experience operating and supporting workloads in Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong scripting and automation skills, ideally in Go, or alternatively Python, Bash, or similar.
- Experience with monitoring, observability, and operational troubleshooting in production environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and developer enablement practices.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Experience with on-call rotations, incident response, software development, Kubernetes, containers, cloud-native technologies, cybersecurity, penetration testing, or cloud architectures is a bonus.
