Responsibilities
- Develop software for low-latency real-time video streaming pipelines.
- Build technology that streams video from one device’s camera over a network to another device’s display.
- Develop multithreaded systems software for Apple’s real-time media streaming features.
- Contribute to streaming technology used by FaceTime, Continuity Camera, HomeKit Secure Video, and other products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency in writing elegant and maintainable object-oriented code in Objective-C, C, or C++.
- Preferred experience with multithreaded systems software development.
- Preferred experience with low-latency audio/video streaming and networking protocols, including WebRTC, VoIP, RTP, and UDP.
- Strong attention to detail, motivation, self-direction, learning ability, and communication skills.
