Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, configure, and integrate scalable security solutions and infrastructure components.
- Implement and maintain cloud security controls, monitor configurations, and protect infrastructure using AWS or GCP security practices.
- Conduct security architecture reviews, threat modeling, and risk assessments for new features, architectural changes, and system updates.
- Provide security guidance, troubleshoot implementation issues, and mentor engineers on secure coding and security design.
- Maintain security documentation, manage security-related tickets, participate in on-call rotations, and improve team processes.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong cloud security knowledge, preferably with AWS or GCP.
- Strong foundational knowledge of security principles and solid Linux knowledge.
- Kubernetes knowledge is a plus.
- Coding or scripting experience is desired, preferably with Go and/or Python.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Ability to assess risks, make informed decisions, communicate effectively, collaborate across teams, and balance security with developer productivity.
