Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy scalable security solutions and infrastructure components.
- Monitor, investigate, and triage complex security alerts and incidents.
- Develop and fine-tune automated alert systems and detection rules.
- Conduct security reviews, threat modeling, and risk assessments for new features.
- Provide actionable feedback to engineering teams on security standards.
- Collaborate with software engineers, DevOps teams, and product managers.
- Maintain security documentation and manage security-related tickets.
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong foundational knowledge of computer security principles.
- Background in coding/scripting, preferably in Go and/or Python.
- Knowledge of cloud security, preferably AWS or GCP.
- Interest in balancing security needs with developer productivity.
- Excellent communication skills for building relationships across teams.
- Strong ability to assess risks and make informed decisions.
- Proficient in network protocols, including TCP/IP, HTTP, REST, and GraphQL.
