Responsibilities
- Develop embedded software, systems, pipelines, and tools for the Matter standard.
- Plan, design, implement, and maintain robust and scalable software.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, technical brainstorming, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Coordinate with SQA, Applications/Support, and Project Management teams to resolve issues.
- Produce high-quality internal and external documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field relevant to embedded software development.
- Proficiency in C/C++.
- Experience in embedded software development.
- Experience with and fundamental understanding of wireless communication protocols including IEEE 802.15.4, Thread, Bluetooth, Zigbee, Z-Wave, and Wi-Fi.
- Preferred qualifications include university coursework in IoT, embedded systems, embedded programming, and networking; knowledge of additional embedded programming languages; and experience developing IoT products or working in the semiconductor industry.
