Base Salary
$243k - $295k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build high-performance content creation, sharing, and consumption experiences across Roblox Moments.
- Own projects end to end from design and architecture through launch and iteration, with measurable impact on engagement and content quality.
- Collaborate with product, safety, infrastructure, and engineering teams on scalable solutions and best practices.
- Identify and improve performance, testing, experimentation, and team effectiveness workflows.
- Maintain high technical quality and user experience standards while rapidly iterating on features.
- Mentor peers and contribute to team processes and an inclusive culture.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building production frontend or client applications and complex user interfaces.
- Deep hands-on React experience, including hooks, component composition, render performance, and state management with Redux or comparable patterns.
- Strong modern JavaScript, rendering, layout, and web/client fundamentals.
- Experience integrating backend services through REST or GraphQL and designing resilient client data flows.
- Willingness to work across languages and runtimes and learn Luau.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
