Responsibilities
- Design and develop streaming services that will ingest millions of data points per minute.
- Understand customer reporting requirements to ensure solutions deliver effectively.
- Make important technical decisions for the engineering team.
- Evaluate open source technologies to find the best fit for needs.
- Coordinate with service development teams, product management, and support teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in architecture, design, or development of enterprise data solutions.
- Excellent algorithms, data structure, and coding skills with Golang.
- Proficiency in SQL and/or other database technologies.
- Experience with distributed technologies like Apache Kafka, Big Query, and Postgres.
- Familiarity with software engineering best practices such as unit testing and code reviews.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
