Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain software solutions that optimize services, cost, and security.
- Write high-quality distributed systems software for Amazon’s global product catalog.
- Drive technical design and end-to-end solutions across organizational boundaries.
- Process and normalize standardized product data from worldwide trading partners.
- Build systems for product identity, traceability, automatic classification, structured-data extraction, visualization, and analytics.
- Collaborate with the team and business stakeholders to drive business decisions.
- Apply software engineering best practices to maintain high-quality deliverables.
- Work in a fast-moving, startup-like environment and prioritize the most important work.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
