Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain embedded software in C for Wi-Fi ICs and connectivity solutions.
- Write unit, integration, and functional tests and validate embedded software quality.
- Debug software and system issues using JTAG, GDB, and logic analyzers.
- Collaborate with architects, hardware engineers, test teams, and protocol-stack developers to integrate software with hardware.
- Participate in code reviews and improve software development, coding, maintainability, and testing practices.
- Use automation and continuous integration workflows to support reliable software delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in embedded software development.
- Strong coding skills in C and C++.
- Experience with unit testing, debugging, validation, integration testing, and functional testing in embedded environments.
- Experience applying software development practices including design, coding standards, code reviews, and maintainability.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and continuous integration workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with AI-powered tools and technologies used to enhance productivity, analysis, and decision-making.
- Preferred: exposure to the Linux kernel, device drivers, or open-source development.
- Preferred: knowledge of Wi-Fi or other networking protocol stacks.
- Preferred: experience with RTOS-based environments.
- Preferred: understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and iterative development environments.
