$147k - $202k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and deployment of backend vehicle access components across vehicle models.
- Develop APIs for secure data exchange among backend microservices, mobile devices, and embedded systems.
- Ensure service scalability, reliability, performance, and security.
- Collaborate with product, cloud, embedded, mobile, and cybersecurity teams to integrate connected services.
- Partner with mobile device OEMs to integrate software with their platforms.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and code reviews for junior engineers.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize processes for reliable real-world operation.
- Create and maintain architectural designs, API specifications, system integration guides, technical documentation, and automated tests.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- At least five years of software engineering experience focused on high-performance microservices in automotive or a related industry.
- Proficiency in Go, Python, or Java.
- Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure, Kubernetes, and Cloud HSM environments.
- Strong DevOps skills for deploying scalable services on AWS or other leading cloud platforms.
- Strong problem-solving, independent work, teamwork, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Familiarity with CCC Digital Key infrastructure, identity management systems, and cybersecurity best practices is preferred.
