Responsibilities
- Define long-term technical strategy for enterprise networking and cybersecurity platforms.
- Lead architecture decisions across networking, identity, security, and cloud connectivity.
- Drive engineering standards, technical roadmaps, and architectural governance.
- Mentor senior engineers and technical leads and lead cross-functional architecture reviews.
- Design and evolve global WAN, SD-WAN, data center, cloud networking, load balancing, DNS, and high-availability platforms.
- Lead hybrid-cloud, Transit Gateway, VPC, multi-region, and multi-cloud networking architecture.
- Drive zero-trust, identity-aware networking, secure remote access, and authorization platforms.
- Design network security, security monitoring, threat detection, security automation, and vulnerability management capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 12+ years of networking or security engineering experience.
- 5+ years leading enterprise-scale networking or cybersecurity architecture.
- 3+ years serving as a Principal Engineer, Staff Engineer, Security Architect, or Technical Lead.
- Deep expertise in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VXLAN, EVPN, DNS, DHCP, IPv4/IPv6, network segmentation, and data center networking.
- Strong experience with virtual networking, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, VPN, load balancers, and global networking.
- Hands-on experience with Zero Trust Architecture, Identity and Access Management, security monitoring, incident response, and threat intelligence.
- Proficiency in one or more of Go, Python, or Java.
- Preferred experience designing platforms for global enterprises, multi-region cloud deployments, manufacturing environments, or AI infrastructure.
