Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a tactical security roadmap, initiatives, and improvements.
- Identify infrastructure security gaps and vulnerabilities and develop remediation plans.
- Develop security standards, guidelines, tools, controls, and automation for cloud and on-premises environments.
- Perform security architecture reviews and assessments.
- Implement and govern security controls through infrastructure as code.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Compliance teams to apply security policies consistently.
- Develop and maintain internal security analytics and data platforms.
- Build data pipelines for posture and event information.
- Maintain documentation of security configurations, policies, and procedures.
- Provide security posture and KPI reports.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience working as a DevOps professional, Cloud Engineer, or Architect with AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- 1–3 years of experience managing and securing infrastructure as code.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or Data Science.
- Solid experience securing and managing applications on Kubernetes.
- Experience scripting and parsing information with Python, Bash, or GoLang.
- Understanding of scalability patterns for infrastructure architecture supporting high-traffic systems.
- Understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery models and best practices.
- Strong communication and time-management skills.
- Preferred experience with data engineering, ETL, data modeling, and GitLab.
- Industry certifications in Security, DevOps, or Data Analytics are preferred.
