Responsibilities
- Implement and fine-tune pre-trained AI models for industry-specific requirements.
- Use AWS Bedrock, Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Rekognition, and OpenAI to develop and deploy AI solutions.
- Use AWS data services including Amazon Athena, Amazon Redshift, OpenSearch, Kendra, and AWS Glue for AI/ML data processing.
- Optimize models for performance, accuracy, efficiency, and reliability, including reducing AI hallucinations.
- Apply Retrieval-Augmented Generation, prompt engineering, and vector similarity search techniques.
- Use PostgreSQL with pgvector for AI information retrieval and similarity search.
- Integrate AI capabilities into products and services with cross-functional teams.
- Lead and manage AI engineers, support their growth, and ensure successful delivery of AI-driven solutions.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and contribute to the adoption of new tools and techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of hands-on AI/ML development experience focused on AWS-based AI services.
- Advanced proficiency in Python and expertise with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
- Extensive experience with Amazon SageMaker, AWS Bedrock, and Azure OpenAI integrations.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS data services and their use in AI/ML pipelines.
- Expertise in agentic AI behavior and frameworks such as CrewAI, LangGraph, and LangChain.
- Experience with vector databases and scalable similarity search solutions.
- Knowledge of AI/ML algorithms and architectures including CNNs, RNNs, and transformers.
- Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation at scale.
- Demonstrated ability to lead AI/ML projects and communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Amazon Connect and AWS AI Services is desirable.
- Knowledge of Apache Spark or Hadoop and familiarity with data visualization are desirable.
- Relevant AWS certifications, including AWS Certified Generative AI Developer – Professional, AWS Certified Machine Learning – Associate, or AWS Certified AI Practitioner, are highly desirable.
