Responsibilities
- Own features and product areas from scoping and technical specification through production delivery and support.
- Develop scalable backend services using Python, Flask, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, Alembic, Pydantic, Celery, and Redis.
- Build modern frontend applications using React, TypeScript, Vite, TanStack Query, and Tailwind CSS.
- Create technical plans, follow automated testing practices, and support testing, deployment, and production operations.
- Use Docker, AWS, and end-to-end testing tools in development workflows.
- Use AI coding agents such as Claude Code, and review AI-generated code for quality, security, and correctness.
- Provide technical leadership while collaborating with product and engineering teams and remaining hands-on.
Requirements
- 7–10 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong full-stack development experience with Python, Flask, React, and TypeScript.
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy, and REST APIs.
- Experience with Docker, AWS, automated testing, and test-driven development.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding agents or AI-assisted development.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a product ownership mindset.
- Preferred experience with pgvector, LLM applications or AI/GenAI pipelines, and multi-tenant SaaS applications.
