Responsibilities
- Develop and support software for Battlespace Awareness command-and-control tools.
- Build or help stand up machine learning infrastructure for system-parameter optimization and CI performance-regression detection.
- Develop high-performance, low-latency or real-time software for mission-critical applications.
- Implement software testing, including Robot Framework tests and integration tests.
- Work on algorithms and intelligent software integrations involving tracking, data fusion, autonomous robotic control, and mission planning.
Requirements
- Demonstrated professional experience with one or more of Python, Rust, C++, or C.
- Solid software engineering fundamentals, including object-oriented programming, functional programming, and REST API design.
- Experience building low-latency or real-time software and developing integration tests.
- Experience with Robot Framework testing, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Comfort using Claude or Codex AI coding assistants in daily work.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include TypeScript or JavaScript, React, NodeJS, Python FastAPI, CesiumJS, faster-than-real-time simulation, Slackbot integrations, and machine learning experience.
- Preferred ML background includes hyperparameter optimization, anomaly detection, and explainable ML such as Bayesian ML; a Master's, PhD, or 2–3+ years of professional experience is preferred for this background.
