Responsibilities
- Develop production-quality Python applications, security protocols, algorithms, and solutions that protect sensitive data and systems.
- Manage secrets securely, including their generation, storage, and use.
- Audit infrastructure and software to identify vulnerabilities and support responses to potential security breaches.
- Develop, implement, and maintain Identity and Access Management solutions and systems.
- Design and integrate APIs, workflows, orchestration, and secure infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
- Use Splunk SOAR or comparable platforms to support threat detection, incident response, and security operations.
- Advise stakeholders and senior management, manage risks and controls, and contribute to security strategy and governance.
- Lead or mentor team members, guide technical direction, and support long-term assignments and organizational priorities.
Requirements
- Strong Python development skills with experience writing production-quality, maintainable code.
- Experience designing, consuming, and integrating APIs.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and tooling, including CI/CD, GitLab, containerization, and infrastructure as code.
- Experience with Splunk SOAR or similar SOAR platforms and Azure Logic Apps or comparable workflow and orchestration tools.
- Strong foundation in threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, cryptography, and identity and access management.
- Proven experience leading or mentoring a team, formally or informally.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure; AWS or GCP experience is valued.
- Familiarity with Splunk and other SIEM platforms, Terraform, ARM or Bicep, PowerShell, and Bash is valued.
- Relevant certifications such as OSCP, GCIH, Security+, or Azure Security Engineer are valued.
- Experience in regulated or compliance-driven environments is valued.
