Responsibilities
- Clarify security requirements for multiple networks and enable multi-level security capabilities.
- Perform risk-based threat triage and manage resources supporting disruptive-event response.
- Recommend business modifications to stakeholders and senior business leaders during periods of vulnerability.
- Establish secure-by-design practices covering threat modeling, secure coding, dependency hygiene, security testing, and SDLC/CI/CD integration.
- Design architecture and roadmaps while balancing quality, latency, cost, and risk.
- Partner with Product, Data, Security, and Risk/Compliance teams to define requirements, controls, and approvals.
- Coach engineers on AI agent patterns, secure coding, testing, design reviews, pairing, and scalable documentation.
- Use and validate enterprise-authorized AI capabilities for security risk analysis, documentation, and security recommendations.
- Design multi-step agent workflows with planning, execution, reflection, memory, tool routing, guardrails, state management, and partial-failure recovery.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and advanced applied experience.
- Experience planning, designing, and implementing enterprise-level security solutions.
- Experience designing and delivering production-grade AI agent platforms or services, including orchestration, tool routing, memory and state management, and failure handling, or equivalent distributed systems experience.
- Advanced proficiency in at least one programming language and ability to solve design and functionality problems independently.
- Advanced knowledge of software application development and technical processes in areas such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile.
- Extensive experience with threat modeling, discovery, vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing.
- Experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities in security engineering workflows, with strong validation practices and awareness of data sensitivity.
- Ability to review and validate AI-assisted security recommendations and escalate uncertainty.
- Preferred certifications include AWS Certified Generative AI Developer, AWS DevOps, OCP, and CCSP.
- Preferred experience with Java and Python.
- Preferred experience designing, developing, and operating large-scale systems on AWS using Terraform.
