Responsibilities
- Identify and address key gaps in Databricks' infrastructure and services to enhance customer safety.
- Attract and recruit top talent in the security engineering field.
- Represent the security engineering discipline within the organization to promote data-driven decision-making.
- Engage with the academic and industry community by representing Databricks at conferences and events.
Requirements
- 9+ years of experience in Data Security or related areas, with expertise in Cryptography, Kubernetes Security, and more.
- 15+ years of experience in building large-scale distributed systems with high availability.
- Proven leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills to advocate for Data Security to senior leadership.
- A bias to action and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.
- MS or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related fields.
