Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end DevHome operations, partner onboarding support, and release execution through post-release verification.
- Manage Android and iOS releases, including submissions, phased rollouts, cherry-picks, rollback readiness, and release tracking.
- Resolve production escalations involving partner access, login issues, onboarding, configuration, and documentation workflows.
- Make safe changes across Go services, React and Docusaurus surfaces, infrastructure, configurations, secrets, tokens, and documentation.
- Maintain Terraform-managed AWS infrastructure, GitLab runners, CI/CD pipelines, and reliability-critical operational tooling.
- Investigate incidents and performance issues using Datadog, Kibana, logs, and system-level troubleshooting.
- Support AMI rotation, EC2 and Docklet maintenance, backend scaling, and migration to MEKS.
- Build automation, scripts, internal tools, approval systems, and operational workflows that reduce manual effort.
- Contribute to on-call readiness, root-cause analysis follow-ups, standard operating procedures, runbooks, and post-mortems.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to unblock launches and maintain reliable platform operations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in TechOps, DevOps, SRE, release engineering, platform support, or similar operational engineering roles.
- Strong Go skills and the ability to safely modify a large shared monorepo.
- Experience across application and operations layers, including infrastructure, CI/CD, secrets, documentation, and production troubleshooting.
- Experience with release operations, production change management, feature rollouts, and mobile application releases.
- Working knowledge of GitLab, Jira, Confluence, and Slack.
- Hands-on Terraform and AWS experience, including Route 53, security groups, runners, compute lifecycle management, and safe infrastructure changes.
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes and EKS, including Helm charts, service-mesh-style networking, namespaces, staged migrations, or MEKS migration work.
- Experience triggering, debugging, and maintaining GitLab pipelines, release automation, and deployment workflows such as Conveyor or similar tools.
- Experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, token flows, HMAC, and secret management for partner-facing API platforms.
- Experience with HashiCorp Vault or equivalent secret and token management systems.
- Familiarity with React and Docusaurus for partner portal and developer documentation workflows.
- Experience using Datadog, Kibana, logs, and production telemetry to investigate operational issues.
- Experience building internal administration tools, workflow automation, approval systems, Slack bots, or similar tooling.
- Ability to partner across engineering, business development, legal, operations, partner engineering, and external developer teams.
- Experience supporting external-facing partner or developer platforms, including canary or phased rollouts, production hardening, post-mortems, runbooks, or mentoring.
