Responsibilities
- Participate in co-creating and developing client applications and IT systems.
- Contribute to designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications.
- Use high-level programming languages, modern technologies, and software engineering tools while following best practices and international standards.
- Collaborate with experienced developers and an international engineering team.
- Develop technical knowledge and interpersonal and foreign-language communication skills.
Requirements
- Have initial experience with object-oriented programming languages, ideally Java or Python.
- Be an active and independent person with strong analytical thinking skills.
- Have prior experience in a similar role, such as through an internship.
- Be a student in at least the second year of relevant studies, or have gained initial IT experience through practice or completed courses.
- Communicate in German at B2 level and have a good command of English.
- Show interest in AI-assisted development using tools such as GitHub Copilot or AI agents.
- Have a basic understanding of how large language models work, where they may fail, and how to validate AI-generated output.
