Responsibilities
- Design, code, and enhance custom software components across systems and applications.
- Develop scalable, high-performing solutions using Databricks and data-processing technologies.
- Optimize data pipelines and workflows for performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with multiple teams and contribute to key technical decisions.
- Act as a subject matter expert and manage team execution.
- Lead implementation of software quality and delivery best practices.
- Debug and troubleshoot complex issues within data platforms.
- Mentor junior team members and coordinate cross-functional development efforts.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with the Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Experience with distributed computing and big data processing frameworks.
- Strong programming skills in languages commonly used with Databricks environments.
- Ability to optimize data pipelines and workflows for performance and scalability.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data storage and processing solutions.
- Competence in debugging and troubleshooting complex software issues within data platforms.
