- Design, implement, and operate full-stack hybrid-cloud, remote, and on-premises infrastructure.
- Develop platform services supporting internal applications hosted in clustered environments.
- Streamline build processes and release management through continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
- Architect, build, and maintain hardware-based CI/CD pipelines.
- Design and develop security controls, access rules, service configurations, and monitoring capabilities.
- Respond to operational incidents and development questions and perform root-cause analysis.
- Monitor and improve service performance, durability, and reliability.
- Participate in reviews, compliance efforts, and an off-hours on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience architecting, configuring, deploying, operating, and troubleshooting SaaS/PaaS web applications and environments across cloud and on-premises virtualized infrastructure.
- Intermediate to advanced Linux system administration skills, including troubleshooting, failure analysis, logs, system analysis tools, SSH, certificates, and basic security.
- Intermediate to advanced Kubernetes experience.
- Experience integrating analytics and monitoring systems such as Grafana, OpenSearch, Influx, Zabbix, or Prometheus.
- Programming proficiency in Python, C, Tcl, Ruby, Groovy, or a comparable language, including work with third-party APIs on Linux-based operating systems.
- Experience with source control, merges and conflicts, artifact management, configuration as code, CI/CD pipelines, and related tooling such as Git, Terraform/Packer, ArgoCD, Artifactory, or Jenkins.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and willingness to document work.
- Bonus familiarity with LISP, Emacs, and FPGA technology from Xilinx.
