Responsibilities
- Perform manual and automated testing of web-based applications and web services in client-server environments.
- Write C#/.NET automation scripts to test services and user interfaces.
- Conduct functional, sanity, database, end-to-end integration, regression, and API testing.
- Develop testing flows and methods for given scenarios while following test strategies and plans.
- Apply SDLC, STLC, and test management processes to deliver high-quality products.
- Collaborate with development, QA, project management, business analysis, and onsite teams to achieve test coverage.
- Track progress, complete assigned activities on time, and escalate blocking issues and process deviations.
- Perform SOAP/REST service automation and identify gaps in testing and integrations.
Requirements
- BE, MCA, or an equivalent degree.
- 4–6 years of experience as a software developer or tester, including API test automation experience.
- Prior software development experience is required or strongly preferred as stated in the posting.
- Strong knowledge of .NET, C#, SQL, databases, and test management processes.
- Experience with functional and automation testing, API testing, and SOAP/REST service automation.
- Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, UML, and Scrum-based development processes.
- Strong English communication, analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and independent working skills.
- Ability to work effectively in an international environment using distributed communication technologies.
