Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain foundational Android components covering networking, app architecture, performance, developer tooling, and shared libraries.
- Implement complex front-end-intensive features and performance improvements in the existing codebase.
- Write tests, improve code coverage, participate in code reviews and technical design discussions, and maintain high code standards.
- Advise product and business teams on engineering decisions and contribute to the long-term technical direction of the Android platform.
- Mentor junior developers and promote high engineering standards and a growth mindset.
- Coordinate with the release team on continuous delivery and timely bug resolution.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of Android development experience.
- Strong knowledge of the Android SDK and familiarity with RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
- Experience with code versioning tools such as Git and SQL databases.
- Excellent debugging skills and fluent written and spoken English.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies.
- Preferred experience with iOS, Firebase Remote Config, A/B testing, Crashlytics, Appsflyer, and Clevertap.
