Base Salary
$177k - $311k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead architectural design for highly available products using a platform mindset.
- Lead technical decision-making and guide engineering teams.
- Develop new software and improve existing software, including shared platform and infrastructure features.
- Evaluate scaling, reliability, security, and technology trade-offs and monitor implementation against architecture.
- Ensure enterprise architecture compliance and conduct design, code, component, and unit-test coverage reviews.
- Drive unit-, component-, and system-level test automation and end-to-end quality.
- Define application performance, utilization, and scalability metrics and contribute to performance analysis and capacity planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
- 15+ years of enterprise-level software development experience in Java.
- At least three years of technology leadership experience in a modern, complex enterprise environment.
- Experience architecting, designing, and developing tools and infrastructure, including highly available services and multi-region architectures.
- Expertise building software integrations and frameworks, with a solid foundation in full-stack development, software design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with security assessments such as threat modeling and penetration testing.
- Hands-on knowledge of microservices architectures, application architecture, build and deployment in modern CI/CD environments, databases, persistence, and public and private cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
- Ability to communicate technical integration details to nontechnical partners and deliver precise, high-quality software.
- Curiosity and adaptability with demonstrated use of AI tools to improve work, processes, or measurable results.
- Successful completion of a background check and drug screen is required.
