Responsibilities
- Own the development and evolution of the Shopify integration, including Apps and Web Pixels.
- Design and improve the merchant installation experience with secure OAuth flows.
- Build and maintain the Ruby on Rails application connecting Shopify with Impact's APIs.
- Design resilient webhook consumers and manage high-volume data pipelines.
- Proactively manage API version upgrades and troubleshoot merchant-specific issues.
Requirements
- Experience building production Shopify Apps or integrations.
- Familiarity with technologies such as GraphQL Admin API, OAuth, and Webhooks.
- Comfortable working with REST and GraphQL APIs and event-driven systems.
- Experience with backend services, preferably in Ruby on Rails or similar technologies.
- Understanding of modern JavaScript or TypeScript and browser-based tracking technologies.
