Base Salary
$232k - $258k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build production ML and backend systems that turn data and evaluation capabilities into customer-facing products.
- Own a business vertical end to end, including identifying opportunities, setting direction, and driving revenue, adoption, and customer value.
- Move products from concept to production with product managers and a small senior engineering team.
- Partner with customers and use customer insights to grow accounts where relevant.
- Raise execution and quality standards as the business scales.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of professional experience designing, building, and operating production ML systems, including strong backend engineering from data through serving.
- Track record of owning a product or product line and driving business impact such as revenue, adoption, or customer value.
- Fluency in Python and a production systems language such as Go, Java, or C++, with the ability to build reliable services and operate them in production.
- Ability to operate independently in ambiguity, prioritize high-value problems, and drive execution.
- Excellent communication skills for aligning customers, product, and engineering around business growth.
- Preferred: master's or PhD in a relevant field; experience growing a product or business line in a startup-like environment.
- Preferred: experience applying ML to real-world data or evaluation domains, including physical-world data, RL environments, agentic evaluation, multilingual or audio data, or data quality and verification.
- Preferred: direct production experience with GenAI and LLM systems, including evaluation harnesses, model tuning, forced alignment or ASR, or model-in-the-loop pipelines.
- Preferred: depth in real-world and physical-world data, agentic RL environments, multilingual and multimodal ML, video and LiDAR annotation, or physical AI and robotics data.
