
.NET Software Developer (Contractor)

- Maintain and extend .NET web applications in a fast-paced development environment.
- Translate business requirements into technical requirements and apply secure, robust, maintainable, scalable, and extensible design practices.
- Create wireframes and deliver quality software across database, backend, and UI layers.
- Participate in code reviews, application testing, and activities supporting software quality and UI/UX excellence.
- Work as part of a Scrum-based, multifunctional systems development team and participate in peer programming.
- Manage work across multiple projects and technologies.
- Write, maintain, and tune SQL Server stored procedures.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience with C#/VB.NET, JavaScript, and T-SQL.
- Experience working on a Scrum team and participating in peer programming.
- Knowledge of design patterns, SOLID principles, Inversion of Control, and RESTful Web Services.
- Experience with some of MVC, WebAPI, .NET Core, HTML5, CSS3, Entity Framework, Entity Framework Core, and ASP.NET Web Forms.
- Experience with some of jQuery, VueJs, and TypeScript.
- Good AI developer experience with Copilot and Agent Skills.
- Experience with TDD and designing and writing unit tests.
- Familiarity with UX and web security best practices.
- Ability to communicate effectively and build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Good standard of English.
