Responsibilities
- Audit existing applications, document them, identify technical debt, and contribute to unit testing.
- Design, develop, maintain, and improve performant and scalable web applications.
- Participate in architecture decisions, technical choices, proofs of concept, and technology adoption.
- Mentor and guide junior developers while sharing development best practices.
- Collaborate with product, QA, and development teams to ensure solution quality and delivery.
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues and provide technical support for existing applications.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and practices.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies and promote agile practices within the team.
Requirements
- Engineering degree in computer science, software engineering, or an equivalent field.
- At least 8 years of software development experience in complex environments and a similar role.
- Advanced proficiency in PHP, Laravel, JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery, MySQL, SQL Server, Bash, and PowerShell.
- Experience with Laravel, Eloquent ORM, Git, Azure DevOps, PHPStorm, VS Code, and GitHub Copilot.
- Experience with .NET Framework or .NET Core is a differentiating advantage.
- Ability to produce clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Strong problem-solving skills, autonomy, rigor, attention to detail, and written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in French and English.
