Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end software development for security data pipelines from ingestion through canonical data stores and downstream consumers.
- Own architecture for endpoint protection platforms and author system and architecture decision records.
- Design and build APIs, policy evaluation engines, integration adapter registries, and projection and aggregation services.
- Improve platform reliability through monitoring, alerting, infrastructure hardening, and operational support.
- Audit and uplift Salesforce cloud infrastructure against security standards and architect secure networks, operating systems, databases, and applications.
- Build and automate systems for vulnerability identification, intrusion prevention, threat-feed consumption, threat intelligence, and adversary tracking.
- Set engineering standards and mentor engineers through reviews, planning, and technical deep dives.
- Collaborate with security architects, infrastructure, operations, product, and partner engineering teams on integration and dependency alignment.
- Participate in rotating on-call operations and communicate technical findings to engineering, executive, customer, and industry audiences.
Requirements
- 7+ years of core software development experience with mastery of multiple programming languages and platforms.
- Strong database engineering, API development, data-pipeline construction, event-driven architecture, and distributed-systems experience.
- Experience delivering sophisticated public-facing products across multiple releases and the full software lifecycle.
- Experience with infrastructure hardening, availability monitoring, alerting, operational reliability, and MTTR reduction.
- Ability to design systems at scale, lead architecture reviews, create design documentation, and develop long-term performance and scalability strategies.
- Experience with engineering processes including pull-request reviews, design reviews, sprint execution, documentation, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience mentoring engineers and collaborating cross-functionally with technical and executive stakeholders.
- A related technical degree is required.
- Preferred qualifications include EDR or vulnerability-scanning familiarity, security-tooling ecosystem experience, and security data-pipeline experience.
- Desired experience includes 5+ years in a computer network-related occupation; 2+ years with Unix/Linux administration, Windows environments, hardening guidelines, AWS, GCP, Azure, and secure infrastructure; and experience with security disciplines, networking, automation, cryptographic standards, and host, network, and application security.
