Responsibilities
- Design, implement, maintain, and optimize DevOps infrastructure for software development and testing.
- Develop infrastructure-as-code solutions and automate provisioning, configuration, builds, deployments, and validation.
- Build, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve CI/CD pipelines, including automated testing and quality gates.
- Administer GitHub repositories, workflows, permissions, branching strategies, governance, security controls, and code scanning.
- Coordinate software releases across development, testing, and production environments and maintain release traceability.
- Create and maintain virtual machines, operating-system images, development environments, and containerized environments.
- Implement DevSecOps practices, monitor and remediate vulnerabilities, and support security audits and compliance.
- Develop and execute a multi-year DevOps roadmap and establish best practices across engineering teams.
- Establish monitoring, logging, reporting, and reliability improvements for DevOps systems and services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, administering GitHub repositories and workflows, and managing software releases and configuration.
- Experience with virtualization, system image creation and maintenance, infrastructure automation, and Linux and Windows development environments.
- Knowledge of software security principles, DevSecOps practices, software development lifecycle processes, and Agile methodologies.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, English communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, TeamCity, GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Python, Bash, Docker, Kubernetes, Microsoft Azure, AWS, or comparable technologies.
- Preferred experience supporting regulated or industrial automation software environments and knowledge of C++ or C#.
