Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the team to build the next generation of internationalisation features.
- Implement new functionality into complex systems.
- Work with engineers from other teams to integrate internationalisation processes.
- Participate in team processes including standups and retrospectives.
- Help interview new engineering team members.
- Own and deliver features end-to-end under the guidance of a mentor.
Requirements
- Strong interest in internationalisation, localisation, and translation.
- Desire to serve international customers and expand Klaviyo’s capabilities.
- 2-5 years of experience in a software engineering discipline.
- Familiarity with full stack development concepts.
- Experience with monolithic and microservices architectures.
- Experience with database design for high query volumes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience debugging performance issues.
- Interest in collaboration across teams.
- Understanding of challenges in developing software for non-English speaking users.
