Responsibilities
- Design and build a standardized warehouse integration layer for third-party connectivity.
- Define integration contracts and operational standards for onboarding new warehouse partners.
- Establish monitoring mechanisms to detect integration failures and inventory inconsistencies.
- Architect and build Quince’s proprietary Warehouse Management System to support various workflows.
- Own the architecture of the end-to-end returns platform and design supporting systems.
- Drive adoption of AI-first engineering practices across warehouse engineering teams.
- Define the long-term technical vision and architecture roadmap for warehouse systems.
- Mentor senior engineers and provide technical leadership across the organization.
Requirements
- 12+ years of software engineering experience in operational or warehouse management systems.
- Proven experience designing and scaling distributed systems in production environments.
- Deep expertise in building reliable systems with a focus on data integrity.
- Experience designing integration platforms and scalable frameworks.
- Strong understanding of multi-tenant architecture and API design.
- Experience leading architecture and technical strategy across multiple teams.
- Strong communication skills to influence technical and business leaders.
- Experience leveraging AI-enabled development workflows.
