Base Salary

$158k - $205k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and improve Azure cloud data solutions for risk, regulatory, finance, and compliance projects.
  • Build large-scale batch and real-time data pipelines using Azure data processing frameworks.
  • Configure Databricks clusters and Unity Catalog repositories and enable streaming data use cases.
  • Integrate data from varied sources while maintaining data quality and accessibility standards.
  • Analyze and design Azure technical solutions, review core code changes, and support production deployments.
  • Partner with business teams, product managers, architects, engineers, database administrators, cybersecurity teams, and other technology stakeholders.
  • Coordinate application integrations with the broader company software ecosystem and support platform, APIM, Azure DevOps, and support teams.
  • Provide indirect leadership and mentorship to junior team members and participate in development planning and task coordination.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of software development experience in enterprise applications, preferably in financial services and data-heavy systems.
  • Extensive experience designing and implementing cloud solutions, specifically with Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with Azure services including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databases, Azure Functions, and Databricks.
  • Strong knowledge of Python, Java, or a similar high-level server-side language.
  • Advanced SQL knowledge on relational databases, preferably Microsoft SQL Server and Azure cloud databases.
  • Experience with the DevOps lifecycle and tools such as Git and Jenkins.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience with REST web services and microservice architecture.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or information systems preferred.
  • Experience configuring Databricks clusters and Unity Catalog repositories is required for the stated responsibilities.
