Base Salary
$194k - $285k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead threat modeling and operationalize security services.
- Define and implement security standards and automated controls.
- Collaborate with various teams to embed secure design practices.
- Manage the technical direction and roadmap for security initiatives.
- Ensure high operational excellence and minimal downtime.
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to security events.
- Oversee the lifecycle of security vulnerabilities and drive remediation.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers in security engineering.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a security engineer in product or infrastructure security.
- Deep hands-on expertise in AWS, with GCP experience as a plus.
- Proficient in Python or Golang and experienced with IaC tools like Terraform.
- Experience in improving infrastructure security posture in large environments.
- Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10 and distributed systems security.
- Exceptional analytical skills and ability to communicate effectively.
